Overview
I was not familiar with the company Lunatic until I bought this kit.  The TS020 kit is available from Modeler's for 14,800 yen, so the Lunatic kit costs extra 5000 yen, but it features a removable rear cowl and complete engine/transmission/suspension details.  It's well worth the money in my opinion.

The resin body is cleanly cast and better prepared than the Modeler's kit, but the rear cowl is slightly warped, so it has to be fixed by heating the part.  A major problem of this kit and many other resin kits in general is that the master modelers seem to be less conscious about the different shrinkage ratios between resin and metal, and the metal parts don't fit the resin body well.  Lunatic is not an exception, so there will be an extensive work to trim some of the metal parts that are glued to the body..

The main feature of this kit is the engine, and it's done very well.  Most of the major components such as radiators, intercoolers, air intake box and exhaust headers are included, too.  The exhaust pipe is molded with a turbo charger, and the waste gate detail is included as well.  The transmission case is resin, and the suspension arms are metal.  The kit includes four detailed brake disks molded with a caliper.

The interior is fully detailed.  The bulkhead part is enhanced with supplemental components, and the dashboard detail is decent.  The roll bars are included, but the unique A pillars of the TS020 are better represented by the Modeler's kit.

The decal is well done, but the kit has only one variation, the car number 27.  I don't know if the white decals are opaque enough to hide the body color of red yet.

I haven't examined the kit in terms of accuracy yet, but the roof needs to be modified a little.  The overall quality of the kit is good.

I hope this info helps the TS020 kit buyers choose either the Modeler's or Lunatic kit.
