Fujimi's hobby show surprises are De Tomaso Pantera, which seems to be all-new and production-ready, and two rapid-prototyped 1/20 scale F1 cars -- Tyrrell P34 '77 and Sauber C30.

Tokyo Toy/RC Show is drawing near, and Japanese manufacturers have announced their upcoming new kits.

Fujimi has announced that they will release the Spinner (from the movie Blade Runner, obviously) for 5040 yen in October. Even though the price is high, it's going to be a simplified kit with limited details, so don't expect the level of details you find in FineMolds' Star Wars kits. Here are some clickable thumbnails:

Up-and-coming manufacturer similR recently posted a teaser picture of what appears to be Ford GT GT1. www.similr.fr

Interesting choice, and it's a good indication that the company is trying to expands its product range outside rally cars.

As it turned out, last year's Nissan Laurel kit was indeed foreshadowing to a brand-new Skyline kit. The 5th Gen Skyline will be released by Fujimi in May.

Fujimi's 911 GT3R kit will be reissued without Good Smile Racing decals, and with cheaper price of 3675 yen (the other one was 4725 yen. Fujimi is also releasing a brand-new Mercedes Benz SLS AMG kit for 3675 yen.

Finally, the latest release in Fujimi 1/20 scale Grand Prix series is F2003-GA Japanese GP version. It's priced at 5250 yen and due out this July.

Also in 1/20 scale, F1 Pitwall stand will be available in May for 2310 yen.
