Description |
It was the Honda NSX, that celebrated the 100th model of the Tamiya 1/24
sports car series in the fall of 1990. And this summer, the series has reached 200
by the release of the Volkswagen New Beetle. The kit is a curbside, so it doesn't
have the engine detail, but the hood, and lower part of the rear hatch are molded
separately. Could this mean that Tamiya's going to release a model with the engine
like they did in RX-7 and Mustang kits? Each kit appeared as a curbside first, then
the engine was added in a different grade of the same car. The kit will surely be a good
seller, and a lot of custom version will be shown in the modeling magazines. I have
a crazy idea, but it's secret.
The next page will describe the kit in detail. Continue |
