Revell Germany 1/24 Enzo Ferrari

3. Lowering

Keen modelers must have noticed in the picture on the instruction, that the front sits too high.  So, lowering is a must for this model.

The Enzo employs the double wishbone suspension design, so lowering is easy.

I used a pair of pliers and carefully bent the base and tip of the A-arm.  The wheel hub was raised by about 3 mm.

The push rod has to be either cut short, or modified as shown.

Now, the front sits fairly low.  You can tell by looking at the gap between the wheel arch and the tire top.

Raising the suspension arms caused an interference with the wheel housing.  I had to cut a portion of the parts as shown in the right piece in the picture.
