Revell Germany 1/24 Enzo Ferrari

2. Engine

Engine is very detailed, and the engravings are beautiful.  Fit of the parts isn't bad either.  This can be a subject for super detailing just like the Tamiya kit.

Two halves of the engine part is shown.

The engine halves are glued together, and the lower and upper panels, as well as the front part are also glued.

Engine was painted with Tamiya flat aluminum.

The intake/injector line assembly was glued and painted.  Also the exhaust headers were  assembled, but it wasn't glued when this photo was taken.  Later, the header was painted with Model Master Chrome.

These are the main engine parts, and they are all removed from the runner.

One side of the  silencer is painted with Model Master Chrome.

Besides Alclad II, which requires black undercoat and airbrush, I think this paint is one of the best chrome, which can be easily applied by a brush.
