Boxster

Small enhancements will make a model look complete and professional.
There was a gap between the fender and headlight cover on the driver's side, so I used putty to fill it.
Because the parking break lever is molded with the center console, I removed it and reshaped the lever.

The chips at the bottom of the body were filled with superglue.

Before modification
The headlight is a weak point of this kit.  The plated light housing has a noticeable pin mark, so this parts has to be dechromed and repainted.

After modification
The pin mark was sanded, and the part was painted with Testor chrome.   I modified the headlight housing to accommodate the lens from the  Modeler's headlight lens set.

Note: After seeing a real Boxster, I discovered that the lens is not a complete circle. (argh)

Now, it has a more realistic (but incorrect) headlight assembly.
