After staying Seattle, we moved to New York to see the terrible history on 11th September, 2002.

8th July
We only lived on the air plane.
We spent 5 hours for moving, and we lost 3 hours for time differences.

9th July
We rode Bus tour, $68 per person including China lunch.
In the morning, we climbed up to Empire State.
The top of the views in the morning shall be introduced with the night views.

Then, we looked at Times Square, Grand Central, United Nation, Tiffany, Central Park, Lincoln Center, from the window of the Bus.
We got off to see the entrance of Metropolitan Museum. We bought the guide book (US$19) to see the tomorrow's sight seeing.

After the Metropolitan, we also went to the China Town through Plaza Hotel, Library, Korean Town, SOHO, village.
We ate Chinese food on the China Town.
After the lunch, we went to Statue of Liberty and Battery Park.
Now we couldn't climb the crown of the Statue of Liberty.

We walked around Wall Street and to Ground Zero.

There was a large hole. I was painful that there were a lot of items of the family of sacrificed people near the church.

We went back to hotel by subway which was very safety.
We watched Major League All star game.
In that game, Ichiro couldn't hit and Sasaki lost 2 points, boo...

10th July
We walked two Museum, the Metropolitan Museum and Nature history museum around the Central Park.

There are a lot of amount and kinds of art works in Metropolitan. We were surprised at all art works.

I had hoped to see the dinosaur's fossil. Wonderful!

In the night, we viewed the top of the empire state building to wait climbing elevator for an hour.
The unique a deco tower is a Chrysler tower building.

11th July
We went to United Nation. We heard an explanation about UN from the German guides.
Then, we moved to MOMA Queens leaving from Manhattan by the subway.
We could not see Water lilies painted by Monet because MOMA Queens' has small displaying space as the storage for the original MOMA which is constructing to expand the building.
MOMA will be finish reconstructing in 2005.

I like the art work which is the clock on the rail.

After returning Queens, we tried to buy the musical ticket at Times Square.
We could get two tickets of the musical "Rent" ($42.5 x 2).
We lent the Show Transfer Machine, but it was transferred to Spanish. We had to change the Japanese Channel during the break. If you need to lend the Show Transfer, you should check the Language Channel.

12th July
We had to wait the Northwest air plane going back to Japan for more than 4 hours.
The Northwest is certainly the North Worst...
