輸入盤は、SONY BMGのスパイウェア騒ぎで回収という事態になっているCD。
今作の目玉は、なんと言ってもJeff Beck(guitar)の参加。一応、日本ではPuffyの参加も注目。

オズフェスト10周年で絶好調のOzzyのカヴァー集。目当ては、クリムゾンの21世紀。Ozzy Osbourne(vocals)、Mike Bordin(drums)、Jerry Cantrell(guitars)、Chris Wyse(bass)の4人に超豪華ゲスト参加。Robert Randolphを起用しているところは、流石、オジーって感じ。

現代アメリカにおける最重要人物ボブ・ディランの初期音源集。
しかし、``Bob Dylan Live At Carnegie Hall 1963''は、この盤に追加して発売、あるいは単独で発売すべき。旧譜を買わせるために使用するのは卑怯。

●Return Of The Champions / Queen + Paul Rodgers (EMI 0946 336979 2 8)
Queenと名乗ってはいるが、Brian May(guitar and vocals)とRoger Taylor(drums and vocals)のみ。Paul Rodgers(vocals and guitar)の声でQueenナンバーが聴けるという意味で貴重な組み合わせ。

東芝がまたもややっちゃいました。日本盤は、CCCDならぬ「セキュアCD」とかいう訳の分からんディスクです。私は当然US盤のCDを購入。gigabeatとかいう機械を出しておきながら、一体いつまで音楽ファンを冒涜すれば気が済むのだろう？
ストーンズはやっぱりカッコイイ。彼らのCDを聴く楽しみの一つは、キースのヴォーカル曲なのですが、今回も納得。

一時代を築いたNYのThe Power Stationスタジオを代表するサウンド。やっぱり、カッコイイ。CDにはボーナス・トラックとして、Michael Des BarresがVocalの``Someday, Somehow, Someone's Gotta Pay''を含む7曲が収録されている。DVDには、``Some Like It Hot''、``Get It On''、``Communication''のVideo Clipと撮影風景、それに``Saturday Night Live''出演時のLIVE版``Some Like It Hot''が収められている。
因みに、私がはじめて買ったLPが本作でした。
