Volkswagen New Beetle

The lower half of the engine is molded with the chassis.

The front suspension is fairly detailed, but most of the part will be hidden after attaching the cover.

 

beetle12.jpg (33803 bytes)The rear suspension looks adequate, but it could be better.  The fit of the parts were excellent as usual for a  Tamiya kit.

When choosing a kit for the box stock category, it is important to pick the one, which doesn't have a primitive error such as fitting.  Almost all Tamiya kits are suited for the box stock because of that reason.  The recent offerings from Revell/Monogram are also good.
