Check and correct any inaccuracies or imperfections at this point.

If there are any sink marks that can't be smoothed with a sand paper, use primer or super glue.  I sanded the entire body with 1500 grit sand paper to find the sink marks.  I didn't have to use putty to get rid of sink marks of this kit.

Because I sand the entire body, I don't wash the body part as many modelers recommend. (I'm too lazy.)

After sanding is done, I thoroughly washed the body, and I used a toothpick to clean the grooves.

I sprayed Gunze Surfacer 1200 spray, but a photo is omitted.  Two coats were applied, and it was lightly sanded with 2000 grit sand paper.  After that, I custom mixed the base coat and shot through the airbrush.  Usually, each coat is thin, so I was able to spray four or five times.
When base coat was done, I mixed pink and red to make the second base coat.  This has to be thin, and I only sprayed twice or three times..
Finally, the body color was sprayed.  I choose Modeler's Ferrari Red, which is fairly dark.  The photo doesn't show how dark it is, because of the flash, but you'll see it in the gallery page later.
After body color was sprayed, I waited for two weeks.  Then, I sprayed Gunze's Super Clear spray can for 8 times or so.  Each layer has to be very thin, especially the first few coats, which has to be almost mist-like.  I wait at least a day between each coat, and I use that waiting period to work on the chassis and interior.

Once clear coating was done, it was sanding and polishing time.  I used Tamiya 2000 grit sand paper to eliminate the orange peel.

When initial sanding was done, I used Detail Master's polishing kit, starting from 4000 grit all the way up to 12000 grit, and I wet sanded the surface.
When 12000 grit sanding was done, I used Tamiya's Compound to polish the surface.  Tamiya Compound is not as fine as car wax, so it's suited for the first polishing work.  It should eliminate the hazy look on the surface, which is caused by number of very fine scratches left by 12000 grit paper.  When polishing was done, I used Zymol car wax to finish the surface.
