taller now, you stand / with whom will you share a glimpse / of the gentle spring sky?
背も伸びた君誰と見る春の空

tickle it just so / the young bud begins to uncurl / a green day begins
くすぐれば今にも開く木の芽かな

blessings of blossoms / shower the baby's pram / a soft, pink confetti
祝福の花ふりしきれ乳母車

child grows past my height / like a dream in gentle spring / graceful moments pass
子は背丈越しゆくものよ春の夢

sunlight spills and spreads / eager children throng the slide / spring air, laughter threads
滑り台並ぶ子増えて日脚伸ぶ
