## How to write a music -- ackee's way -- ##

There are a lot of ways to write songs and it is difficult to explain simply how to make them. Sometimes An idea came across to me imediately, or sometimes I had to spend much much time to pop up an idea.

Following would be an example of how to write a song, which is called "Lovers" for CLEOPATRA by HANAGUMI-shibai. It is available to hear the sound via Real Audio by clicking the text.

The song was requrired for a back ground music at the scene of an amusement center (or an harem). Rhythm pattern of "Kamigata-Sawagi" was applied to the basic pattern. "Kamigata-Sawagi" is a famous Geza-music in Kabuki as an expression of an amusement center (or an harem) with Geisha-girls in Kyoto. Here is the rhythm pattern with Konchiki(a kind of bell), Shime-Daiko(a kind of drum), and Oh-Daiko(a kind of large drum) Dom, Tek, Ten
That's ethnic polyrhythm ! The original scene was at Alexandria. So let's combine with ethnic patterns of Tabla.
Elotic mood should be expressed with fretless bass and marinba. My favourite bass line ! Flute-like tone would be nice for the melody
Final arrangement with chinese cymbal Futozao-shamisen at the latter half was played by Yumi Shakuhachi tone should be suitable for it !
Don't you think That's easy?
HAHA ! it seems very simlpe and easy to do !
