The complete front section is shown in the picture.  I applied putty and smoothed a few times, and I applied Mr. Surfacer by a brush each time for checking.

All I have to do is to apply carbon fiber decal now.

At that time, I wanted to see how the model would be built, so I put some parts together.  The door hinges are already made, but not fixed yet.

The bulkhead under the windshield needs to be added because there is a huge gap.

As you can see, the door sills are filled by covering with plastic sheet.  I used putty to make curved surfaces.

 

The gray spots on the diffuser are Tamiya putty thinned with Mr. Thinner.  Mr. Surfacer is too thin, and Tamiya putty is too thick to eliminate those ejector marks, so but using thinner for Tamiya putty, I had a control of consistency.  I employ this method to erace the marks quite often.  
Prepainted engine and gear box assembly is shown.

I haven't done anything yet, but took a picture for future comparison.
