DR-Big in Japan

D R-BIG(DR750S/DR800S) was NOT, and is NOT sold here in Japan,although the product of the Japanese company. Why didn't, and doesn't, SUZUKI sell this nice model in its mother country?

R eplies to this question we reason are too difficult for us to express in English. But one of the answers we can write in English is that the Big Off-Road motorcycles are not popular in Japan. Then why ?

B ig-Off motorcycles don't fit the Japanese road which is narrow,snaky, and sometimes heavily jammed. They are too heavy for us!
- This is the opinion often written in the Japanese motorcycle magazines, so most riders never dream that the Big-Offs have great fun riding in Japan.

I t seems to me that the Japanese motorcycle companies agree with this assumption. They don't sell the Big Off-Road motorcycles over 400cc in Japan. (The exception is now only XRV750 AfricaTwin.)
So we need to import from other countries, if we want to buy such a motorcycles like DR-BIG,XTZ750,Dominator, KLR650,and so on.
