I used the planks that I earlier pulled up off the original floor; a lot of them were broken in that process, but I could salvage enough pieces to do this job.
Once they were in place, I painted them with a wood stain ... er, 'somebody' painted them with a wood stain ...

Yes, the girls are here for a while this summer, and this is a job that they can handle with no problem!

It finally looks like a real wall! It's still not completely done, as I have yet to put 'caps' in place at the two corners where the walls meet the front side, but anyway, for a while, this will have to do ...

Now that the exterior wall is in place, work will shift to the inside ... but that will have to wait for a while - with the girls here, the priority is going to be on other things than construction. Back soon!
