Nozawa Hot spring outer-baths 2

Taki-no-yu

Taki-no-yu is a outer bath in the highest place of the hot spring town further reached from Asagama. Water of the hot spring is hot, and the color is green and has slight Yunohanas. The nature of the water is a calcium sodium-chloride sulfur spring, and the fountainheads are 78 centigrades.

Shin-yu

Shin-yu is in the byroad of the way to the Nozawa- onsen pool. The color of hot water is yellow and the ingredient of water is very deep. A bathtab looks green.
Black Yunohana is drifting. It is estimated as noted hot water. The fountainhead is 55 degrees.

Kami-tera-yu

Kami-tera-yu is in the place which went down the hill to west from Shin-yu. Hot water is introduced from Asagama. The water is bluish green slightly and is quite hot. The building is rebuilt recently and is new.

Oborotukiyo hall

Oborotukiyo hall is commemoration hall of Mr.Tatsuyuki Takano who is noted songmaker of the Education songs. Dr. Takano made Japanese children's songs, Oborotukiyo, Furusato, Haru-no-ogawa, etc. He was born at the northern part of Nagano prefecture. And he had his cottage in Nozawa.

So his commemoration hall was constructed here. Stained glass is wonderful although the contents of exhibition are quite modest.

Hand made buckwheat

We visited a hand made buckwheat noodles store. The process of buckwheat noodles is peculiar to the Nagano northern part. It is enough taste of buckwheat and it is very good taste.

The buckwheat noodles with Tenpura 1500 yen
