Mt. Mizugaki, Kurohime Highland, Myoukou Highland, Sasagamine Highland, Mt. Hachifuse

Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood made a round trip Mt. Mizugaki, Kurohime Highland, Myoukou Highland, Sasagamine Highland, Mt. Hachifuse from July 1 to 3, 2003.

They first visited Mizugaki Land near Mt. Mizugaki where Mr. Greenwood was asked to design co-generation facilities for their Hot Bath facilities. Then, they entered Village Kawakami where they passed in 1999. Their destination was Myoukou Highland. But before that, they stopped at Kurohime Highland and visited Kurohime Farm and Kurohime Lavender Garden.

Before sunset, they had arrived at Hotel Shumisen Ichinyado Gen. it was operated by one of Greenwood's friend, Mr. Ogino. He had renovated the facilities. Mr. Greenwood's interest was private bath installed on the veranda of each room. He bathed in it and cooled body on the veranda reading a novel "Rumbling Sea".

In the next day, they enjoyed walking through public foot path in Sasagamine Farm (height 1,300m) over 3 hours. The farm has beautifully scattered big Beech and Oak trees. This farm has a long history of difficulties.

Then they visited Lake Otomi. The view of Mt. Kanayama (2,220m), Mt. Yakedake (2,400m), and Mt.Hiuchi (2,462m) was splendid.

In the third day, they stopped at Mt. Hachifuse which Mr. Greenwood wanted to show Mrs. Greenwood.
