As for appearance, the following modifications are given to the standard model. Change to the front grill of a metallic lattice Attaching large-sized front spoiler and roof spoiler. Attaching the air hood on a bonnet. Change to large-sized side malls. Change to the plastic bumpers. Change to shell type door mirrors. Change to a dual muffler.
It is the front view fairly aggressive for a small car. A bonnet has hinges in front. For that a bonnet is surrounding to a fender, it is felt smooth and clean. There is the "70H.P." batch in front grill. Square shape headlights are made by SIEM.
The body color had 3 kinds of black with orange stripes, orange or silver with black stripes. A front end and a rear end somewhat tend to reverse slant. There are stickers of "127 Sport" on the bonnet sides, and the "70H.P." character is contained in the door side mall. Triangular vent windows can be opened and closed. Back end of rear quarter windows also can be opened about 5cm.
Unlike A112 ABARTH, not rear spoiler but roof spoiler is attached. I think that there were few dual mufflers in 1000cc class those days. A rear wiper is equipped standardly. The sticker of "Sport" is stuck also on the tail gate lower left. The car of above pictures is the right-hand drive specification based on UK specs. Although the bonnet hood must have been on the air intake to the interior of a room, it is not attached to this car. Alloy wheels (made by OZ) are post-installation, and, originally are steel ones. The ABARTH batch on front grill and rear panel, and mud guard are also attached later.
In addition, there was the following change in a face lift in 1982. Wearing of a large sized plastic bumper with front spoiler. Wearing of a fender plastic cover. Enlargement of headlights. Change to Square shape door mirrors. Enlargement of side malls. Change of tail lamp design. A standard equipment of an aluminum wheel.
