The body of Spiny Eel is eel form, and Spiny Eel does not have the ventral fin. It cannot take out an upper jaw forward. It is seen in the ditch of a field and the field well mainly. The big thing inhabits the fresh water such as a pond or the river. It bears drying and inhabits in a hole at the marsh which dried up. The method of the breathing of Spiny Eel breathes in air from the place that seems to be the hole of a certain nose first of all of the rostrum, and air seems to breathe in the mucous membrane region of the oral cavity. The eating habit is basically carnivorous and eats a fish, a lobster, a newt, a leech.
