| It's natural to think of making a model of ones own car, isn't it? I've
been a satisfied owner of a '83 Z-Car, and I've been working on a model for quite some
time. The kit must be tooled by Japanese manufacturer, and imported by US Airfix. The kit
is a typical motorized model of Japanese of that time, so it doesn't have the engine nor
suspension detail. Since AMT/ERTL reissued 1/25 Datsun recently, I decided to use some of
the components from the kit, while installing a scratchbuilt engine I made earlier. The US
style dashboard is from Fujimi's 280ZX, and the custom wheels (I didn't put them, but the
previous owner did) is from Testors/Fujimi Suzuki Samurai. |
