Fall releases from Japan's four major manufactures have been announced. While one item for Hasegawa is understandable, only one
from Tamiya suggests that there might be a surprise at the Shizuoka show
in October. (Carrera GT?) Tamiya didn't even announce the GT-R in
Chicago. Anyway, here's the list. Most of them are new tool or
reissue with new parts.

After skipping two volumes, I resumed a brief review of F1
Modeling. Vol. 17 has been available for a while, and it's a great
material as usual. F1
Modeling Magazine Review
Revell's Enzo kit is released. Although it doesn't have
opening doors like Tamiya, the kit is very well done. The quality is somewhere
near Tamiya's Testarossa or the F40 kit, and it's one of the best Revell
Germany kit.

Unfortunately, I can't attend the Shizuoka show this year.
However, I gathered some info about upcoming releases.
Tamiya: FW24 (all new tool)
Fujimi: RX-8, new NSX and new NSX-R, new Impreza WRX. All new
tool.
Aoshima: Mad Max Intercepter, Bomex RX-7 (FD3S) Modified
reissue
Hasegawa: Jeep Willis MB (new Military Vehicle series. More to
come)
Looks like it's gonna be another busy year.

After
a long break, I'm finally updating my web page. I wasn't so lazy
during the time, but instead I was working on a different project, that
was not car related.
The photo on the right is a fully scratchbuilt 1/8 scale replica of
the Moulton Pylon, commissioned by an owner of the actual bicycle.
The model was almost entirely made with raw materials, except the tires.
I'll set up a page of this project later this month.
As for car modeling, I have purchased more than a dozen of car models,
since the last update. Tamiya's Enzo is 50% done, and I'll post
progress pages soon.
Also, I'll be making some resin upgrade kits for Revell Integra and
Civic soon. The first will be a turbo kit for the Integra, and as
soon as it's available, I'll post the link to my online shop. Have
your Paypal account ready. ;)
