 In my opinion, the Viper is one of few vehicles that has a proper
"attitude" and the characteristics of an American car in modern days. AMT/ERTL kit shown here is the prototype of the GTS Coupe, which has those imitated side exhaust pipes left over from the roadster. On the other hand, Revell's GTS kit represents the production version. |

 The model was basically built straight out of the box with some exceptions
such as posable steering, seat belts, throttle wires and heater pipes. |

 The kit was painted with a mix of Gunze Sangyo Aqueous Hobby Color metallic
blue, cobalt blue, and clear blue. Testors gross coat was used to add another layer, then
it was sanded and polished by using Tamiya finishing papers, polishing compound, Detail
Master polishing clothes.Finally, I used Tamiya modeling wax to protect the surface. |
