Spring

A touch of spring - / slipping off my jacket / the softening air
春めいて上着ふと脱ぐぬくみかな

In the veil of spring rain‐ / the softened night / a sheltered face breathes.
春雨の夜陰にひそむ素顔かな

old wooden houses, close- / red-plum twigs loosening / let spring slip
路地裏に隠せぬ紅の梅便り
-
taller now, you stand / with whom will you share a glimpse / of the gentle spring sky?
背も伸びた君誰と見る春の空

tickle it just so / the young bud begins to uncurl / a green day begins
くすぐれば今にも開く木の芽かな

blessings of blossoms / shower the baby's pram / a soft, pink confetti
祝福の花ふりしきれ乳母車

summer festival night- / your geta clacking / with your slow steps
履きなれぬ下駄は鳴りおり夏祭

向日葵や重さにこうべ撓みおり

湧き水や夏の陰影編む手かな

梅雨じまり絵本の字さえ滲むかな

栗を煮る一つ命たる甘さかな
