#### NUMERICAL SPACE / SPHERES

We can use several methods for making objects with smoothly curved surfaces by POV-Ray. And one of the methods is putting spheres continuously with comparatively small intervals for diameters. This method is very simple and easy. We can make complicated shapes by using triangular functions or modifications by the position on the coordinates.
I made some works with those elementary level mathematics. But I like them. Please enjoy them.

The first try was making oscillations, Lissajous, on the XYZ coordinates. I put spheres to drow the locus. The variations are from the changed cycle time. Scene file : lpsgoslo.txt

I put the spheres on the oscillated position on the XZ plane with modifying diameters based on the oscillation circle time. Scene file : lpsgstf.txt

I added the y coordinate oscillation to the above mentioned objects. I feel something similar with feet or arms. Scene file : lpsgfoot.txt

I picked up the pink core of the above objects and played by modifying. Scene file : lpodtoge.txt

I varyed the magnification of sphere's xz coordinate diameter along the y coordinate. Scene file : lpodarch.txt

I arranged tree same pieces of the above object symmetrically. Symmetrical arrangement makes us feel a sort of harmony. By the way, Mr. Miguel Garcia Diaz uploaded an interesting site of Abstract Chess Set with POV-Ray inspired by this image. Please see it. Scene file : lpodpgda.txt
