Only 16 species of 5 genera in 1 family belongs to Scandentia in the actual life. Appearance and the action resemble a squirrel, but it is totally another animal systematically. It eat an insect and fruit and inhabit the Southeastern Asian tropical rain forest. Having the tail which is long by the nature in a tree, it is the figure which seems to be the squirrel of the on the small side a little. The head has a sharp nose, and an ear is small. The constitution of a basic body resembles the Insectivora. However, a brain and eyes do the appearance that resembled Primates in a big point, but it do primitive cranial bones comparig with Primates.
