友人へメールを書いていて気がつきました。

　“四六時中”って　4 x 6 = 24　で24時間、つまり一日中っていうのが語源！？

We use the word "si-roku-ji-chu" which means all day or always. "Si" is 4(four), "roku" is 6(six), "ji" means o'clock, and "chu" means through.

I suddenly noticed when I was writing an e-mail to a friend of mine. This word may have come from "4 x 6 = 24", I mean, from "through 24 hours".

I know it's not so surprise you...
