"Hi Tabo,
Joe and I joined the Shearing Quintet in 1964. I left in October of that year to do a TV show. Joe stayed with the group and I rejoined it in July of 1966. We both left at the same time to do a TV show in 1967. So, the Fresh Feeling record (see #29') was done in 1966 before I went back to the group. The New Look album was done later in the year of 1966."
