Let's enjoy DRIVING in the circuit!
Now many pages are under construction.
Please wait for a while.
- That's the Circuit.
Driving movie in
MIZNAMI MOTOR LAND in MIZUNANI city in Gifu.
Enjoy movies that recorded by on-borad-camera. Exciting!
- KUMATARO's driving lesson.
This is a lesson for the beginners who want to drive in the circuit.
I will show you how to lesson before circuit-run using many pictures and movies.
- What is "Heel & Toe"?
Have you heard the word of "Heel & Toe"?
That is a one of driving techniques. Let me explain how to learn the technique of "Heel & Toe".
- Driving technic(Now under construction)
Technique for professional
- How to escape the accident.
When a car in front of you spin, what will you do?
Now I explain how to escape the accident and the motion of the spining-car.
And so on.
I am making these pages gradually. These pages are going to be held soon. Please wait and look forward it.
That's the CIRCUIT!
I introduce the movies of spin and drift in MIZUMAMI motor land.(10/10/95)
You can see these quick time movies by any computers such as Macintosh,98 and UNIX-machine.(I certified it by Power Macintosh 7500.)
And be careful that files are very big. If you have enough HD and CPU-power,you can easily enjoy that.
-
Side-drift in MIZUNAMI.
Side drift (429k Quick Tmie Movie)
He started drift when he pull the side-brake as a chance.
When he was coming in the corner,he pulled the side and quickly set it back.
In the movie he touched side-brake all the time, but the brake should have been set back.
-
And other spin after pulling side-brake.
Spin(2) (396k Quick Time Movie)
Just as same case of above,he tried to drift on the corner but it was late to handle counter and it resulted in spin.
- This is a "COUNTER".
COUNTER (231k Quick Time Movie )
Watch the movie carefully.
It was a corner turning right but at last of the corner he handled "LEFT".That is just we said "Counter".
You should be carefully so you can find the "counter" in the movie of "Side-drift" before.
- And other "COUNTER".
Counter (2) (297k Quick Time movie)
This is the "counter" at the last corner in MIZUNAMI.
Driver operated a wheel very quickly, you see.
If he did it late he should have spined.
What is "Hell & Toe"?
(produced on Oct. 20th in 1997)

Many people say "Heel & Toe". But what is "Heel & Toe"?
You step on the brake with your "Toe" and at the same time you step on the accelerator pedal. That is the "Heel & Toe".
But that is troublesome,isn't it?

When you are driving changing gear from 3rd. to 2nd. you often speed down, don't you? Like you suddenly step on the brake pedal.
That's why that the engine turns slow but the car run fast. You can easily protect it to step on the accelator pedal when you change the gear.
When you drive at the same speed you should step on only the accelator pedal. That's very easy. But many racing drivers have to this action also with braking.
We have only "2 legs". So we have to step on brake pedal and accelator pedal. We call that technique "Hell & Toe".

Now I explain how to master the "Hell & Toe". At first you have to learn matching car speed and engine rotation changing gear 3rd. to 2nd. or 2nd. to 3rd.
After you enrich your experience enough, you have to do the same lesson with braking. If you don't feel be shocked you may master "Heel & Toe"!
How to escape the accident.

When we drive in the circuit-course,we often see spinning-car. When a car in front of me spin,it is very dangerous.
How to move the car? How to action the spinning-car?
We have to forecast and avoid the spining-car.
When we are going on right-turn-corner,usually rear tires slide left at first.
But you can't go inside because it often happens that suddenly a car in front of you slides right.
You see the movie on the left. This time,a car once slided left and after that quickly slided right. That's a very common pattern of "spinning".
It is most important that you have to make sure "When the car slide widely at last".
Any way, when you see a car sliding you have to pay attention.
