Yamashiro Hot Spring has long history and it is one of nationwide famous Kaga hot spring villages. Yokuden is a symbol in the center of the hot spring town. Many luxurious hot spring Japanese inns surrounds Yokuden (public bath). Here is a hot spring of an amusement area. The building of Yamashiro Hot Spring Yokuden (public bath), which is glassed is modern A bath in first floor is for women, the one in the second floor is for men. There is a reception desk like bandai (lookout seat) in the entrance.

There are two circular bathtubs in the hot spring. A bathtub is shallow, and other one is deep. The bathtub is to waist in depth when I stood in it. Hot water is colorless, and there is little smell. Temperature of the hot water is a little high. The temperature makes us feel refreshed. Thehot water is abundant. This atmosphere is popular, and seems to be a big hot spring public bath. The guests who come to this hot spring are not the staying guests of the hot spring town. Many people in the neighborhood come to here with soup in the pail. There is a person lying down pleasantly near the bathtub. There is a stand on the first floor, and you can but drinks, icecream and onsen tamago(egg which is boiled in hot spring). There is a tearoom which has an atmosphere of old style tearoom.
