Outline

Azuma Hot Spring Kikyo- Kan is the village-run hot spring of Higashi-mura which is at the north foot of Mt. Haruna. It is in the village-run playing field on the bank of Azuma River.
As there is Iwaido (cave) which is a part of big rock mountain at the opposite bank of the Azuma River, you can enjoy the beautiful iscene.

Impression

There are the main bath with big window and the open-air bath. The water is almost clear and green. The water is a little hot. The water source is high temperature hot spring as 54 degree the benefit of the high hot spring of 54 times.



The flame of bathtub is Hinoki (Japanese Cypree) and the bottom is covered with natural rock.



There is a big hall where you can enjoy karaoke and have a light meal.

Access

Get off at Shibukawa Ikaho IC of the Kanetsu express- way, and go to route 353 via route 17. Cross Azuma River before Ichijou station of JR Azuma line. About 20 minutes from Shibukawa Ikaho IC.
There is a large parking lot.



Iwaido

The picturesque scenery area of the Azuma River. These is smalll shrine which is located in the cave of big rock mountain.



Hand-made Buckwheat noodles

There is hand-made buckwheat noodles shop. (go to the Nakanojo direction about 1 km on Route 353 from Kikyou-kan.
It was just so-so.
