Magic of HULA
Two years have passed since I started learning hula.
At first I just wanted to wear beautiful Mu'umu'u and dance gracefully.
However,the more I learn Hawaii,hula, its history and culture,the more
I fascinated with hula and also think about its,so to speak, spiritual aspect.
But I am just a Japanese.I am no match for Hawaiian in fundamental things.
In the first place, the nationality is different.Natural features are
different.We didn't grow up in Hawaiian wind which can cherish aloha spirit.
Still,the will to continue hula become strong more than ever.I guess that
was because I don't live in Hawaii.It is the only thing to support me.
Everybody who is fascinated with hula tries to trace a fine thread and
approach something real.
