Last moment preparation

Mr. Kazuyuki Uchida of Tokyo will start Harley Davidson ride from Los Angeles to New York for Stop AIDS campaign in early May 1999.

This is a fund raising campaign for AIDS victims in the United States. On each major cities on the planned route, he has a plan to stop at City Hall or at an office of American Red Cross Local Chapter and distribute brochures on AIDS prevention to the people he meet and challenge people to donate one dollar for each mile he rides. Red Cross will receive donation.

Japanese Red Cross Society is an  official sponsor. The campaign is also supported by Guardian Angels.

Organizing committee of the fundraising ride is headed by Mr. Naoyuki Agawa, Attorney and a Visiting Professor of Virginia University Law School and Keio University in Japan.

He will start on May 1st. from New York and finish at San Francisco on May 5th 1999. Total mileage is 3,300 miles.The detail of planned route, cities, time schedule had been released as follows:

As described in the homepage article " Harley Davidson", Mr. Greenwood supported Mr. Uchida during his second ride across North American Continent in 1996.

The campaign plan was exhibited in "Premium Incentive Shows" held in Ikebukuro Sunshine Convention center from 7th to 9th October 1998.

Preparation activities are presented in "Mr. Uchida's Visit to USA" and "Last Minutes Preparation".

The Embassy of United States of America in Tokyo and Japanese Red Cross Society had been an official sponsor for the exhibition. The exhibition was also supported by Guardian Angels.
