Trial Ride on MAGLEV Train

 

Mr. Greenwood joined a trial ride on Magnetic Levitated (MAGREV) Train as a part of International Project Management Congress.

MAGLEV train running at the speed of 450km

Development of a magnetic levitation train is a series of national projects. The program started in 1962. Magnetic levitation of the vehicle was completed in 1972. The construction of the Yamanashi test track has started in 1990. The world speed record of 552 km/hour was achieved on 18.4 km test track in 1997.Two trains run face to face at relative speed of 1,003 km/h in 1999.
