Welcome to Bonze Works. 　 There are a number of reasons why I decided to build this website for Mr. Akagawa. Of course I like his art works and value his talent highly; he and his wife Sonoko - also an artist - have been friends of mine for nearly ten years, and I am very impressed with their way of living. I feel they are real artists who contribute to society and who have gainedrespect from many people. For some time I have been suggesting that he introduce his highly acclaimed copper sculptures on the internet, but a continuous stream of orders for his art works have left him far too busy to do it by himself. I am very proud of having had this chance to create his website; this work will not have an end, as this site will continue to grow as long as he continues creating his art. Mr. Akagawa was very cooperative with my work on this project, and the people working in his studio were also very helpful. Professional photographer Mr. Takayuki Osumi, Mr. Tatsuo Minami and Mr. Kouji Ishizaki were all very helpful in providing their works for my use.
