　でも、巷にあふれているのは、インドあたりで作られている粗雑なリプロダクション（レプリカ）^＊１。所有する喜びを感じる六分儀を見つけるのは、結構大変です。ロンドンやパリの高級店に行けば、良い品がびっくるするようなお値段で売ってはいますが、、、　お金がない私は、ふらふらと各地の蚤の市や、さびれた骨董品屋を覗いて探すのでした。

　そこそこの六分儀に出会ったら、品定め。その際は、自分でどの程度きれいにできるかを考えてみてくださいな。あ、本当の六分儀は、骨董屋が磨いていないかぎり、（他の光学機器と同様に）余計な反射を防ぐために黒塗りになってます。高級店に
