「ジャケットの写真が紺のブレザーに、白のシャツで、何の意図があるのか、さっぱり
わかりません。学生服か、銀行の制服をねらってるのかもしれませんが、
僕は制服フェチではありませんが、どちらかというと、パステル系のＯＬっぽい、
ちょっと光沢のあるストッキングが似合うようなジャケットにしてもらえると、

アレンジがいいので、持って来ました。」との事。
「このDaryl Coleyは日本にも来た事がある方で大好きな人なんですが、ＬＡで
自分の教会を持ってて演奏しているみたいです。」という事でした。
この日は「宮の森フランセス教会」のゴスペルシンガーの話でＫＯ−ＨＥＹさんと

「今日は秋の夜長にピッタリのナンバー。この曲はかなりの思い入れがありまして・・・。
この方はダニー・マクラクラン。この方が率いるクワイアがありまして、ニューヨーク・
リストレーション・クワイアというかなり強力なユニットがあるんですが、そのリーダーの
彼がソロ・アルバムを出しました。」という紹介をしてくれました。
ちなみにこのアルバム邦盤もでてまして・・・邦題は「ドニー・マクラーキン」になっております。
余談ですが・・・このアルバムは私が「ゴスペル」にハマるきっかけになった一枚です。
「ニューヨーク・リストレーション・クワイアで、この曲１０年位前に録音されているんですが、
アナログで私、持っております。なぜ、かなり思い入れがあるのかというと、９４年くらい、
シカゴ・ゴスペル・フェスティバル行ったときにこの方もでてまして、この曲もやってくれまして、
観客も皆、歌っていたんです。この模様をＤＡＴで録音していたんですが、後で聴いても
いろんなバイブがふるえあっているという・・・すばらしかったです。
ちなみに、この焼き直しバージョンですが、ワイナンズファミリーのデビーとアンジーという
女性姉妹がコーラスで参加しております。」
・・・聴きたいなぁ・・・。

「今回ご紹介するのは、あのカーク・フランクリンが曲をかいて、歌っており、
しゃべっております。
あと、カーク・フランクリン＆ザ・ファミリーで沢山リードヴォーカルをとっております
ダラン・コリントスという人なのですが。
ビデオとかが出ているので、見てもらったら”なるほど”と
思う感じの、でっかい、ドラム缶３本くらいの人でとにかく声が美しい。
２年前の９月に皆でＬ.Ａにアルバムのミックスしてもらうのに行ったんです。
その時にカーク・フランクリンが主催しているミュージカルを見に行ったんですが、
その時にも彼もだいぶフィーチャーされていて。
ファミリーの人も半分くらい出ていたのですが、言葉がメチャクチャわかりにくい。
一緒に行った日本語＆英語ペラペラの彼ですら６〜７割わからない。それくらい、なまりが
ひどかったんです。でも、すばらしい想い出でした。
そのミュージカルとは直接関係ないんですが、大好きなカーク・フランクリンの作品です。」
という前置き（実際はもっともっといっぱい話していたけど、割愛します。）
の元にかけてくれました。
「この曲は９３年の作品なのでカーク・フランクリン＆ザ・ファミリーの一枚目のアルバムと
同じ時期なんですね。ちなみにホイットニー・ヒューストンが【ＪＯＹ】という曲を
演奏しているのですが、それも元々カーク・フランクリンがジョージア・マス・クワイアに提供
した曲です。やっぱり、この人はスゴイ！」
と、大絶賛！！！したおりましたーーー。

「この曲はもともと大好きな曲のひとつで、【OH HAPPY DAY】で有名なエドウィン・ホーキンスの
弟のウォルター・ホーキンスの作でして、トラメイン・ホーキンスが十八番にしています。」

「クリス・ウィルスはアルバム一枚しか出ていないと思うのですが、ジャケットが久々にいい。
トシ久保田を丸坊主にしたようなジャケットで・・・。あまり名前に聞き覚えがなかったのですが、
調べたところ、９２年に『ヘンデルズ メサイア』というクシンシープロデュースの、
ちまたでブームになったゴスペルアルバムがあるのですが。これはゴスペル界外からも
ケビン・キャンベルとかアル・ジャロとか・・・。ゴスペル界からはここでも紹介した
バネッサ・ベル・アームストロングとかトラメイン・ホーキンズとかが参加してるのですが。
オムニバス盤でゴスペル入門としても最適ですので、持っていない方はゼヒおすすめです。
この中の３曲目にリ−ドボーカルをとっております。」というコト。
この曲って一時ＦＭ局でよくかかってて、あたし、すっごく好きだったんだぁ・・・。

子供たちのクワイアなんですが、以前にもハーレムの子供たちとか

この人たちは１枚しかアルバムでておりませんで、どうやらカリフォルニアの北のほう、
バークリーの子供たちのようですね。白人がかなり主体で僕にしてはめずらしのですが、
すばらしくピュアなものを感じるので大好きです。」とのコト。
