   The JOUYOU kanji database is complete and contains 1945 characters.

   The French and English versions were put online in December 2001, with the first 420 kanji cards.
Other sets were added progressively over the following years.
Many users around the world have volunteered their time and knowledge to make localized versions.

• The German version in March 2007
• The Italian version in February 2008
• The Vietnamese version in May 2008
• The European Portuguese version in September 2008
