Kanagago Shinto shrine

Kanagago Shinto shrine stands next to The Itohara memorial.
Kanagago is a god of steel manufacture. People engaged in steel manufacture believed in the god who undid Kanagago.
A precise measurement device did not exist when the Tatara steel manufacture was done. They had to do all work by the experience and intuition. Therefore, they believed in their gods further.

By the way, the Shinto shrine in this photograph is dividing presented. The head temple of the Kanayago Shinto shrine is in the Nishi-Hida, Hirose-cho, Shimane Prefecture.

Torii, a Shinto shrine gate
Kanagago tabooed the woman.
There was a taboo that women
must not enter internally at the
Tatara factory.

Small shrine
The taboo's theory is that
Kanagago was woman's god.
Then,Kanagago envies the woman.
And,Kanagago disliked blooding, too.
