Profile
Dr. Robert Rosser
holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Conception Seminary College (Missouri), an
M.A. in Religion and an S.T.B. in Theology from the Catholic University of
America, an M.A. in English from Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in
Rhetoric, Linguistics, and Literature from the University of Southern
California. He has taught at several institutions, including Conception
Seminary College, Florida State University, the University of Southern
California, Catholic Theological Union (Chicago), Harris-Stowe College
(St. Louis), and has taught English as a Second Language in Mexico, Saudi
Arabia, and Thailand. Dr. Rosser held a series of administrative posts at
Conception Seminary College including dean of students and head of the
departments of English and Speech and of Drama, which he established for
the college. He also served as president of the Pontifical Institute of
Liturgy Foundation in Rome and New York City. He joined the UMUC faculty
in August 2003, has taught in Korea, and is currently serving as UMUC Asia
Academic Director for English, Communication, and Humanities.
