Roman Empire, Persia, Mongolia, Turkey, Czarist Russia are formed as Armenia S.S.R. in 1920 after rule by the other race continued for a long time. It formed Zakabkas Soviet socialism Federal Republic with Georgia, Azerbaidjan in 1922 and joined the Soviet Union as an independent republic after 1936. It declared sovereignty in 1990 and became independent in 1991.
Two kinds of insect stamps were issued in 2006 by this Armenia.
