It rained for the first time after I had reached Ireland.
１．Sligo
Sligo is hometown of writer Nobel prize, Yeats. Additionally, it is a beautiful snug town with a lot of ruins in the temple, too. A lot of poetrys of Yeats were written in the bronze image which commemorated Yeats.
Mt.Ben hided oneself in the fog. There were the mysterious scenery together with a near lake gile. A lot of legends are still existing. We aimed at Yeats' graves afterwards, then aimed at hometown of Enya, Donegal of in the north.
2. Ground of Spanish fleet landing
We entered the Donegal state, then we found a sign of ground of the Spanish fleet landing beside the road. We went foward to narow road about 4Km from national road, and the sign stood. It was the coast that I exactly imagined from the music of Enya.
３．Donegal
City of Donegal is a capital of the Donegal state which is the most north part of Ireland. I asked where was the hometown of Enya at tourist information. It was about 100Km north from here. The stuff of information kindly explained on guide book about the approach. But I had to regret at this time because of relation of a return airplane.
I could not hear the sound of the Gaelic though I walked in the town. However, music by which pipe of Irish tradition was performed arrived in the roadside and the sound was one used also for the tune of Enya. I want to come here again.
４．Markree Castle
We went back to Sligo on the same road again. The reason was that it was necessary to exceed the border if we tried to use other roads. The border excess with the car might take a time to check.
We could not find hotel in Sligo. But we found castle hotel after passing Sligo. There were vacant rooms. I thougt it was surely high but it was fifty pounds for one person (about 8500 yen). So we instantly decided to stay the castle.
Anyway, it took five minutes or more to reach castle from gate by car. Only sheep's voice of being sounded without seeing anything in the house in the distance in surroundings. Considerably, the taste to which it was eerie for a moment again and good was put out though it was a lot of castles of having gotten rough which were.
I slept soundly at night and being sure to stroll in surroundings of the castle has overslept in the morning.
