Programming languages
There're some variations of programming languages depending on OS. On Windows, it applies C++ ,VB and Java. Also, it applies software developping tools, Director and Flash, curious MAX/MSP.
C++ language
C++ fetures in its programming that can be applied to different OS. It's convenient language though it's harder to learn compared with other languages. Windows supplies VC++ , C++ and Builder. I prefer VC++.
Visual Basic
VB is applied for Windows only. MacOS has a similar language called RealBasic. That of version 6.0 is much easier to learn than VC++, however, NET version is as tough as C++.
Java
Java has various types. Java appret runs on PCs. Servlet and JSP runs on servers. Java script runs on browsers.
Director
Director is not a programming language but a depelopping tool called authoring tools. Creating application programs by putting files of pictures, movies, voices, and so on. ActionScript is the exclusive language which controls pictures and movies.
Flash
Flash is an authoring tool. Creating application programs by putting files of pictures, movies and voices. ActionScript is the exclusive language which controls pictures and movies.
MAX/MSP
MAX/MSP is not a programming language nor authoring tool. It creates application programs by connecting listed various kinds of parts. It works great dealing with music and movies.
