A front wing is thin, a back wing is large and the friend of Noctuid Moth is a medium size and it is nocturnal. Although there are many kinds of a simple color, a kind equipped with a skillful color and a skillful pattern also has a back wing. A scalpel lays eggs in the root of the plant used as food, or the ground. A larva eats night and a leaf, or goes into inside, and adds damage to the plant. It is known that Noctuid Moth has the organ which detects a bat in the chest. Many kinds do serious damage to the important crops in the world.
