Chum Salmon reaches full length 1m. As for the color of the body when it is in the sea, wedgwood blue, a ventral are silver-white, and there is not the back side in the sunspot where a back and the tail and fins show a lot of it. Clouds of a dark color such as red, green, yellow-shaped crest appears after having gone up for laying eggs in a river. After incubation, the fry which absorbed an egg yolk goes down the river while eating an aquatic insect. It eats small Crustacea and cuttlefish, a small fish in the sea and grow up and come back to the river born at 2-5 years old and lay eggs.
