Insect Stamp of Croatia

Croatia is one of the countries born with collapse of former Yugoslavia. It was a part of the Roman Empire before A.D., but It passed through rule of Frank Empire and Byzantine Empire in the ninth century from the seventh century and was formed as Croatia kingdom in the tenth century. However, it lasted for about 900 years after the twelfth century, and a Hungarian follower received it and became independent after World War I as Yugoslavia kingdom. It took German aggression in World War II, and there was birth of pro-Nazi Administration for temporary period, but it became with the republic which constituted former Yugoslavia after the war. It put an end to Communist Party rule in 1990 and It separate from a federation in 1991 and declared independence, but it is rushing in a civil war by Croatia power and Serbian power. Croatia government troop recaptured most of areas occupied by a Serb in 1995, and a peace deal was concluded.
A new kind discovery stamp comprising three pieces of one kind of insect and two kinds of shellfishs was issued in 1997 by this Croatia.
Three kinds of insect stamps of a good sense were issued in 2005 year.
