Insect Stamp of Cambodia

Cambodia was unified in Kampuchea country in the sixth century, and the encore dynasty prospered of the 14th century from the ninth century. It took Thailand and Vietnamese erosion and became a French protectorate afterwards in 1863. It is become independent in 1953 by France. It will walk a socialism route under the autocracy system of King Sihanouk, but Lon Nol who held real power in coup d'etat in 1970 abolishes monarchy and falls into a confusion state by having let you shift to republican form of government. It enter a civil war by Sihanouk who took refuge in China forms a Cambodian unified front of a race in Beijing, and having planned domestic power and the concentration. In 1976, the Communist Party establishes Democratic Kampuchea, and Pol Pot Administration is born. This government was knocked down by the relief race unified front that took Vietnamese support in 1979, and the People's Republic of Kampuchea (Heng Samrin Administration) was born. In China of the exile future, Pol Pot groups concentrated anti-Vietnam 3 groups, and Sihanouk formed the Democratic Kampuchea coalition government in 1982. By talks by both groups, Heng Samrin Administration abandons a socialism policy in 1989, and election is carried out under the monitor of U.N. observer force in completion, 1993, and Vietnamese armed forces withdrawal returns to monarchy, too and Sihanouk takes office as the king again and reaches it at the present.

Five kinds of stamps describing the beetle were issued in 1994.
Six kinds of stamps which drew the beetle also in 1998, and the small sheet describing longhorn beetle were issued.
Six kinds of stamps which drew the beetle also in 2000, and the small sheet describing Scarab Beetle were issued.

An Atlas Giant Beetle is a large-sized beetle which lives throughout tropical Asia. The fight heart is strong and it has the angle which specialized in fighting in the head. The area where altitude is high is inhabited and it lives for about six months.
