ユーモアと風刺の歌ということですが、これぞアメリカの合唱曲という感じ。旧録音の寄せ集めじゃないかと思いますが、こういう企画は面白いです。演奏もGregg Smith Singersなので、名演とはいきませんが、つぼを押さえた演奏ですね。この中で個人的には Fine の「The Choral New Yorker」が好きです。オフブロードウェイのミュージカルの一場面のような音楽。アメリカの都会（それもちょっと前の）の音楽という感じ。(2000-5-22)
