Volkswagen New Beetle

The first job was to eliminate the seam lines with a fine sand paper.   After sanding was done, Gunze Sangyo Mr. Surfacer was applied by a brush to eliminate the scratches.

beetle12.jpg (33803 bytes)After surfacer was dried, fine sand papers were used to smooth the surface, otherwise, the brush strokes would show up when surfacer was applied.
beetle12.jpg (33803 bytes)After Mr. Surfacer 1000 was sprayed, it was discovered that both ends of the hood were slightly higher, so a sand paper was used to make the surface even to prevent those areas from appearing during the polishing process.
