In the early afternoon on December 24, 2002,
I arrived at the house of Sir Roland Hanna in a suburb of New
York City.
Quiet in the mountain. |
The house of Sir Rolland
Hanna. A big House
His piano he played
habitually. I feel almost hearing him playing.
|
I put a message card which is by many of his Japanese fans
on both side of the portrait of Hanna-san,
Mrs. Ramona was
impressed to see this with messages very much and cried.
Thank you very much
for everybody who wrote a message for him.
Because there was warm support of many people,
I was able to realize that I did it this way and was able to come to
New York. Much gratitude for all.

An ornament of the raccoon dog Mrs. Ramona’s favorite,

but it snowed very much from the evening. ( from
the window of the hotel where I stayed.)

The day before my
return to Japan, Mr. Johnson invited Ms.
Naoko Tanaka who is violinist and belongs with New York Philomusica
(and actives worldwide)
and we had Christmas dinner together.
(I could talk in Japanese!)
Nowadays, this New York Philomusica of a classic music
group is popular in New York City.
It is said that their concert to be always full and the musicality of
albums what are produced by Mr. Johnson are also excellent.
I wish someday they also have concert in Japan.
In the morning of On 26th of
December, NYC. the day of my return to Japan,
after breakfast, with Bob, in front of Carnegie Hall
I thank Bob (I call Mr. Johnson Bob) for everything he has done.
Someday, I have to repay his kindness in something by all means.
Thank you for your kindness Bob.
