In 1980s, fishing by casting a net from beach was seen often in Seven Mile Beach. But it no longer practiced there. But a friend of Mr. Greenwood, ex Prof. Morinaga who taught nuclear physics in Univ. of Munich invited him to a net fishing in Ito beach.
After catching sufficient fishes, all participants enjoyed shusi and barbecue party in ex Prof. Morinaga's home.
